Turkey Legs Join the Food Fare at the Good Neighbor Festival

Turkey Legs Join the Food Fare at the Good Neighbor Festival

The Middleton Wings Youth Hockey organization is pleased to bring jumbo turkey legs to the 2012 Good Neighbor Festival which kicks off on Friday August 24th and runs through Sunday the 26th.

This is a new addition to the food roster at the festival.

The Middleton Wings host bands and sell refreshments as part of it's fundraising efforts.

Another welcome addition to the Wings tent is wait service.  Club volunteers will gladly serve your food and drinks to your table while you are listening to music.  The tent area also has an increased number of tables this year so seating should be easier to find.

Middleton Youth Hockey is home to over 250 skaters from 4 years old through high school.

Good neighbors recognized in Middleton festival

Middleton residents will soon be recognized for their good deeds at the 48th annual Middleton Good Neighbor Festival.

The festival, from August 24 to 26, features free music, food, games and prizes. A 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 25 winds through Middleton as hundreds or walkers and runners raise money for the town.  A parade on Sunday, August 26 at noon will feature floats, bands, fire engines, and more.

But the Good Neighbor Festival also features just that – good neighbors.  Four residents are honored this year for their commitment to service and for their volunteer efforts in the Middleton community.

Mike Hinz, President of the Middleton Baseball & Softball Commission (MBSC), is recognized for his positive impact on Middleton youth.  His leadership with MBSC has led to a first-class baseball/softball facility at Fire Fighters Memorial Park, the festival organizers said.
