The Krispy Kreme Donut store in Middleton is offering a dozen free glazed donuts when you bring in an ugly tie. All you have to do is snag one of dad's ugly ties and bring it to Krispy Kreme before Father's Day.

The Krispy Kreme store is already adorned with dozens of ugly ties. Your dad's ugly tie could join the others that are haging from the ceiling at the Middleton Krispy Kreme.

The Middlton Krispy Kreme has been open since late March and features it's famous hot glazed donuts and a variety of specialty donuts.

Krispy Kreme is located at 2109 Deming Way in Middleton.

Tanner's Bar & Grill opened on March 1 in the former Bucatini location, along Deming Way.

An official ribbon-cutting celebration will take place Tuesday, May 10, beginning at 5 p.m.

Tanner's will be celebrating by offering $1 Capital Brewery beers and free appetizers to sample from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The restaurant will also be presenting the Badger Chapter of the American Red Cross with a check for more than $3,025.

Tanner's has nine locations located throughout Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. The Greenway Station location is the first Tanner's in Wisconsin.

"We're delighted to welcome another restaurant that is unique to our market," said Corey Kautzky, general manager for Greenway Station, in a statement. "The restaurant has been performing well and offers our shoppers an additional alternative for dining."

Another Friday, another craving for a fish fry. This time I checked out the Stamm House in Middleton. Located on Century Avenue, the Stamm House was built in 1852 as a store and inn and now serves dinner Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
