A portion of Branch Street is expected to be closed for about a month for maintenance, according to a notice from the city.
The roadway between Century Avenue and Columbus Drive will close beginning Monday for the first phase of the Branch Street reconstruction project, according to the city of Middleton.
Crews will resurface the road, replace the water main and do spot repairs of the sidewalk, curb, gutter and sanitary and storm sewers.
The project is planned to be take place in three phases to minimize disruptions to local access, according to the notice.
The early finish date for phase one of the project is noted as July 10 on the city project plans, and traffic control is forecasted to end between Century and Columbus on July 2.
