Watertown man charged with 4th OWI in 5 years | News
A Watertown man faces his fourth charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated after being arrested in Middleton early Saturday morning.
The incident happened just after midnight Saturday in the 2000 block of Allen Boulevard.
According to police, a car driven by John Stephens, 52, was swerving on Allen Boulevard. near University Avenue. Officers stopped the vehicle and gave Stephens a sobriety test.
Police said Stephens failed the sobriety test and had open intoxicants inside the vehicle. Stephens also faces charges of operating after revocation and operating a vehicle without insurance, according to police. �
Police said Stephens is being held at the Dane County Jail.
