Sun Prairie beats Middleton in boys' baseball | News

Sun Prairie has swept their season series with Middleton following a 9-3 win over the Cardinals in Middleton Tuesday.

That means the top ranked team in the state has swept the season series over eighth ranked Middleton.

Sun Prairie did most of their damage in the 4th inning Tuesday. Aaron Schmidt drove one over the head of the left fielder for an RBI double.

That hit was part of a seven run barrage for Sun Prairie, and helped keep Sun Prairie on top of the Big Eight standings with just a few weeks to go until the WIAA playoffs.
