Man sentenced to 6 years for planning to sell 200 pounds of marijuana | News
A Madison man was sentenced to over six years in prison for planning to distribute more than 200 pounds of marijuana, according to a release from the Department of Justice.
Nicholas Bokass, 32, was sentenced to 80 months in prison after police found 96 pounds of marijuana and and empty plastic bags that had once contained an additional 187 pounds of marijuana in May 2012.
According to the release, Bokas pleaded guilty to the charge in June but continued to sell marijuana while he was under investigation.
The case judge sentenced Bokas to 80 months because he failed to end his drug use or dealing after prior arrests and treatment.
