Local lighting manufacturer wins award for green light | Environment

A local Middleton lighting manufacturer is leading the way in green innovation.

ETC, Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc., has developed new Source Four LED spotlights that won the Award for Sustaintbility at the PLASA 2012 tradeshow in London.

The spotlights excelled in efficacy, with at least 30 lumens per watt, said a press release.  The light saves energy while still performing for stage, television, film and architectural applications.

“The Source LED is another green light within our Source Four line. We engineered it to be an addition to the lighting-design toolbox and to blend beautifully with the different light sources in today’s lighting rigs,” said ETC CEO Fred Foster.
