Bowling fundraiser to benefit PD's safety programs | Community Spirit
Police will host a fundraiser at the Sport Bowl to benefit the agency's community programs.
The Middleton Police Department's "Strike Out Crime" family fun bowling event is scheduled Oct. 5 at 6815 University Ave.
Teams of four can sign up to bowl at 12:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. that Saturday. The $80 fee per team includes two games, shoe rental, pizza and soda, Middleton police dispatcher Keith Cleasby said.
Money raised at the Strike Out Crime event will go toward the police department's many community awareness programs including bike safety, citizen's academy, the annual National Night Out community grill out, Christmas gathering to benefit kids and their families called Shop with a Cop and more.
Participants can register online at www.middletonpd.com/bowling.htm.
