'Rising Stars' concert brings guest violinist
Works by Wagner, Verdi to be performed
The Middleton Community Orchestra will hold a winter concert Wednesday night at the Performing Arts Center.
The performance will include musical selection from Verdi, Wagner, Saint-Saens and Britten, according to the group.
Guest violinist Alice Bartsch will join the orchestra for the "Rising Stars" presentation and Steve Kurr will conduct the group.
According to the MCO website, tickets are $10 and students can attend free. Purchase tickets at Willy Street Co-op West or at the door; venue opens at 6:30 p.m., doors at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
