Total $3,200 grants estimated to impact about 3,000 students, officials say
Nearly $3,200 in schoolroom grants will fund a variety of learning projects in the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District estimated to impact 3,000 students, according to school officials.
The MCPASD Education Foundation announced its six grant winners for the spring 2013 cycle on Wednesday. The six staff members -- Park's Amy Callies, West Middleton's Pernille Ripp, Sauk Trail's Anne Gustafson, Kromrey's Kerry Burke, Clark Street's Erich Eifler and Middleton High School's Larry Martin -- received grants totaling more than $3,200.
The 2-hour yellow bus tour included stops at the six schools. Seventeen MHS band members played "On Wisconsin" in each of the schools before chair Courtney Ward-Reichard presented each recipient with flowers donated by Copps, a certificate and an Education Foundation pin.
